How To Know If You Will Look Good With Short Hair
BORED? Have you thought about going for the big chop? Maybe a shorter cheeky bob? Well before you do, you should try this neat trick.
What you’ll need
- A ruler
- A pencil
- A mirror
What you’ll have to do
Look in the mirror side on so you can see the side of your face and neck. Touch your chin with the pencil and keep it horizontal along your chin towards your ear, Then position the ruler under your ear vertically so that the pencil and ruler touch. Next, measure the distance from the bottom of your ear. to the top of the pencil.
What you’ll be looking for
If the measurement is less than two and a quarter inches, then good news! A shorter bob would look great on you, (like a chin length bob). If it’s more than two and a quarter inches, then you should think more about longer bobs maybe just touching your shoulders.
Why does this work?
It’s less about face shape and more about the angle of your jawbone to your ear. A lot has to be said about this rule. However there may be other factors to consider as well. But breaking the mould and going for something completely outside the rules can be fun as well.
