Keratin is a protein naturally found within the hair. A professional keratin smoothing treatment works with heat to smooth the hair, reduce frizz and soften unwanted texture, leaving the hair looking smoother, shinier and more polished.
It isn’t a permanent straightening service, so you don’t have to lose all of your natural movement. The aim is more manageable hair, easier blow drying and significantly less frizz. Results gradually wear away rather than growing out with a harsh line, and longevity varies depending on your hair, the treatment used and your home care.
